An Afternoon in Vernal
I have a confession to make. I have recently become obsessed with blogs. Every morning I log onto my computer and have to check my daily blogs first thing! I love looking at other photographers blog because they are such an inspiration to me. A few weeks ago I came accross [b]eckers blog at work. Needless to say I didn’t get much work done that day. I spent the rest of the afternoon checking out all of his blog entries for the last 2 years…and since he has blogged every day for those 2 years you can see why it took me all day to check it out. Anyways, the entry which really inspired me to get out and shoot was his road trip he and Jessica Claire (another awesome blog) took down and around Route 66. I was so jealous because I have always wanted to go on a photo road trip on the Mother of all Roads! Well since I didn’t have the time or the money to take off for a few weeks Alex and I decided to drop Paige off at Grandma’s house and make the long..ummm…30 minute trip to Vernal. Anyone that has ever been to Vernal will tell you it is a quirky little Dinosaur Tourist town with not alot to see but the Wal-Mart and the big pink dinosaur welcoming you to town. Well we decided to visit the uglier side of Vernal…the run down buildings! And I think the result was worth it!

Bridget & Paige
My sister and I are 6 years apart, but we are so close. When she found out that her and James would be adopting a baby due 5 weeks before Paige I was so excited! They would have so much fun growing up together! When Bridget was born she was tiny! She came out to my parents house the next week and I was so excited to take her first offical portraits! Here are some pics from her first week…

This is my niece Bailey. I usually hav to bribe her to take pictures, so this time I told her I would also take pictures of her favorite new stuffed animal “Rexi” It is to bad I always have to bribe her because she is so photogenic.

This is the famous “Rexi” Bailey has carried this dino around for about a month…whic is a new record for her. She usually only keeps her attention on one toy for about 3 days.

Now here are some pictures of Paige and Bridget when Paige was only a few days old. My mom is so excited to have 2 new grand babies. They are both so cute!

They are so cute huh?

Feel free to comment on how cute my baby is…it is ok…I know you can’t resist it!
Paige and her Daddy
Well Paige is now almost 3 weeks old! I can’t believe how quickly the time has passed already. Her daddy says she is the sweetest baby in the whole world…and I have to agree! Here are a few of my favorite pictures of Paige and her daddy.

I promise I will update this more often than I have been doing it! I have a ton of pictures to post so check back often!
Also…I have been playing around with Red Door Photography’s logo…what do you think about this one? Do you like the circle better than the square from earlier posts? Leave me a comment and give me some advice!
