Best of 2008 : The Engagement
I am in Love with Engagement sessions. No really, I am. It is my favorite part of my job because it gives me the chance to really get to know my awesome clients. By the end of the session my cheeks hurt from smiling. 2008 was so awesome for engagements. I had about 30 favorites when started picking them but I felt like I should narrow it down a bit, so here are my absolute favs!

Mark & Ri’Leigh : The Wedding Part 2
Here is the second part of Mark and Ri’Leigh’s wedding. I just think this couple is the cutest!

I just love her!

I have been waiting forever for a couple to do this!!!

There is a story behind this I am sure!

Thanks Ri’Leigh and Mark! I had a blast!
Mark & Ri’Leigh : The Wedding Part 1
I feel so blessed to have some of the best clients on the planet. Taking pictures of this wedding made me think I have the best job in the whole world. There is just one word to describe Mark and Ri’Leigh . . . Cool. Nothing that went wrong that day phased either one of them. Did Ri’Leigh run out of gas on her way to our getting ready pics? Yes she did, but that didn’t stop her and her bridesmaids from jumping out of the truck and pushing in to the gas station, laughing the whole time! Did Mark and Ri’Leigh freak out when the florist didn’t have their flowers ready? No they did not!
I can’t say I stayed as calm and collected! Ri’Leigh and Mark had decided to see each other before the ceremony since it would be dark when the ceremony was finished. Since the flowers were not done until about an hour before the ceremony I only had about 45 minutes to take the pictures. I was pretty worried, but since the couple was so awesome it was easier that I thought it would be!!!
This first picture pretty much sums the wedding party up! The funniest part was Ri’Leigh was the first one over the fence! It was pure awesomeness!

I didn’t stop laughing the whole time!

I can’t believe they went inside this filthy house! I am telling you, they are awesome! What is even more awesome, is the Ri’Leigh chose the location!!!

Magic light is pure money!

The light is too pretty. This is straight out of the camera. Crazy huh!!!

I love this little intimate shot Alex caught!

I am actually really glad we got delayed. The light was perfect!!!

***Edited to add this last pic. Yep pure awesomeness when it comes to clients!***

Come back in the next few day for more awesome images from Mark and Ri’Leigh’s wedding!
Jana & Aaron : The Wedding Part 2
Here is part 2 of Jana and Aaron’s wedding!
They had adorable flower girls!
I love the flower girls in this shot!
The Father Daughter dance touching.
The kids at this wedding did not stop dancing! It was awesome.
I couldn’t pick one for their first dance, so I picked 3!
See what I am talking about! The kids had their groove on!!!
I love this picture of Jana’s Brother and Sister dancing! They were all so much fun!
Thanks Jana and Aaron for an awesome wedding. You make my job fun!!!
Jana & Aaron : The Wedding Part 1
Jana and Aaron had such an amazing wedding! I had so many favorites that I had to split them up between 2 days. They chose to see each other before their wedding, which I love! Here are my favorite shots from their ‘first look’ and from the formals.
My sister in law Stephanie (Fifi) took this picture. Amazing right! This was her first time ever shooting with me! She has a natural eye and I can’t wait to teach her more!!!
Another one of Fifi’s. I love Jana’s face here. Aaron surprised her with bigger diamonds for her wedding band than she was expecting! Gotta love that!!!
Fifi’s!
Come back tomorrow morning for the rest of the pictures!!!
Rileigh & Mark:The Engagement
Well I have so many sessions to blog I decided to try and blog twice a day. It may not happen every day but we will see what I can do! I really want to keep my blog updated!
Rileigh & Mark are getting married next month and I am really looking forward to it. They are a really cute couple and their wedding sound like it is going to be really awesome! Here are my favorites!
I try not to go to the same place over and over again, but I really wanted to use this old orange van for an engagement session. I just think it is so funky and cool. Oh and if you are wondering why Rileigh and Mark are laughing so hard it is because I almost fell flat of my butt tripping over a car jack. I swear I am so clumsy.
I swear I love our drive-in! It is so cool!
They are so cute huh!
